Diploma Course

Objectives

  1. Provide a curriculum that meets the basic requirements and skills for the academic study of Buddhism.
  2. Gain basic language fluency of English and Pāḷi
  3. Study, access, and articulate the essence of Buddha’s teachings and its historical background.  
  4. Serve society with high personal and professional capacity.

Entrance for Diploma Course

An applicant who is applying for Diploma Course

  1. Must pass Pathamagyi Level (or) Matriculation
  2. Must be under 30 (for monk and nun) at the time of application
  3. Must enter the entrance exam
  4. Must abide by the decision of the Selection Board

Exam for Diploma

  1. Students who have 75% attendance will be allowed to enter the exam.
  2. The final decision of the Examination Board will be made if valid health reason is submitted by those who have not 75% attendance.
  3. 40% of Total mark is pass mark of each and every subject.
  4. Final Qualification Exam will be held at the end of each Semester.

Certificate for Diploma

Diploma Certificate will be conferred only on students who have passed all subjects.
